After months of fighting an uphill battle with the world at large, I finally have some good news to report. My short story, The Death Catcher, first published in Fear the Reaper, has made the top 100 in TNT's Wattpad horror contest and from yesterday through this coming Tuesday (December 6th) it's in the running for the top 35. After that is the running for the top 10 and then the grand prize winner(s) are chosen from there. During each of these rounds that I manage to stay in YOU CAN READ AND VOTE for The Death Catcher here (LIKE RIGHT NOW, FOLKS!)

The story and contest are over at Wattpad. If you're not familiar with Wattpad and/or don't have an account, it's free and there's mobile apps so you can read free fiction, including several of my stories and my first novel, SHINING IN CRIMSON.

So please go and check out the story and vote and then share with all your friends! The top 10 winners get $2,000 and their story optioned, and the grand prize winner gets $20,000 and their story made into a television episode for a new upcoming horror anthology show! So, if you enjoy the story and would like to see it on your television, this is your chance to help make it happen!
